Untitled

I sometimes
Take a nature walk,
Enjoy the silence
That comes with the snow

I hear nothing but the silence,
See white, Feel cold.

But I also miss
Having these deep, existential walks
In the woods,

When the silence is taken over
By all the living animals,
When you can see what at some point
Lied beneath the snow.
When you can feel
The warm wind
Hugging your skin

When you can fall asleep under a tree,
After thinking about life,
The things that happen,
The things that were, are, and will be
Until our energy can no longer handle us.
